Former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis has been indicted by Los Angeles County prosecutors this week on a felony assault charge related to an April incident outside a nightclub, the district attorney’s office confirmed to USA Today.

Davis — who played eight seasons in the NBA for three teams, most recently the Clippers in 2014-15 — was charged with assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, L.A. County district attorney’s office spokesperson Ricardo Santiago said.

Scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, Davis, 32, faces a maximum of seven years in prison if found guilty of the felony charge.

Davis also was arrested in February in Maryland on suspicion of drug possession and distribution.

TMZ reported the felony assault charge stems from an incident in April outside a West Hollywood nightclub that left a man hospitalized with multiple injuries.
