A Mississippi State University baseball participant is going through a domestic violence cost subsequent his arrest Sunday. 

Luke Hancock, 19, was arrested soon following midnight by officers with the Starkville Law enforcement Department and booked into the Oktibbeha County Jail, in accordance to jail records. 

Hancock was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. He bonded out all-around 5 a.m. Sunday. When questioned about a bond volume, jail personnel referred concerns to the law enforcement department.

A law enforcement department spokesman stated a public records request would have to have to be filed with the Starkville Metropolis Clerk. 

Hancock did acquire a mugshot but, for each protocol, it will not be unveiled to the media without the sheriff’s permission, jail personnel stated. The sheriff was not in the office environment Monday due to the Labor Working day getaway. 

Hancock is a freshman catcher on the MSU baseball group.

A spokesperson for the MSU athletic department was not instantly readily available for comment.
