Indian River County Sheriff’s Office by way of Storyful
A Florida SWAT group had an arrest fall proper into their lap, actually … as a result of a barricaded suspect hiding in his attic fell by the ceiling and right into a sea of deputies … and it is all on video.
Check out this footage out of Sebastian, FL … the place a SWAT group and disaster negotiators have been referred to as in to seize a person with an extended rap sheet who was needed for allegedly driving a stolen automobile.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office says the man who comes crashing out of his ceiling into the ready arms of SWAT officers is 37-year-old Keith Rodgers … and he’d barricaded himself in his dwelling and brought refuge within the attic after deputies confronted him about driving a truck that was reported stolen.
The sheriff says Rodgers fell by the ceiling after hiding out for a number of hours … and he was charged with resisting an officer with out violence and grand theft auto.
While it seems to be like quite a lot of police manpower for a person needed for driving a stolen truck, the sheriff says Rodgers’ “extensive criminal history and previous statements that he would get into a shootout before going back to jail” necessitated a SWAT group and disaster negotiators.
Come out, come out wherever you might be!!!
