Akon Arrested in Georgia

Akon acquired locked up in Georgia after being arrested on a warrant … however he is already been let loose of jail.

The “Locked Up” rapper was busted in DeKalb County final Thursday … the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office confirms to TMZ.

We’re instructed the Chamblee Police Department arrested Akon within the morning on an out-of-county warrant, and he was booked into jail and launched inside 6 hours.

It’s unclear what the arrest warrant was for … we’re engaged on it.

Akon — authorities title Aliaune Thiam — posed for a mug shot in jail … he is sporting a black hoodie and is generally expressionless.
