Erica Breaux Arrested on Drug, Theft Charges
… After Cops Find Her in Stolen Car
Published
“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Erica Breaux discovered herself within the slammer after she was caught with medicine … in a stolen automotive!
A rep for Brookhaven PD tells TMZ … Erica, who’s often known as Erica Banks, was in a car that was pulled over Monday on Buford Highway in Brookhaven, Georgia, after a police officer observed a tinted tag overlaying the car’s license plate. It’s towards the regulation to have materials affixed to a license plate that’s not clear in Georgia.
Upon additional inspection, the officer observed the car had vendor plates, which is meant to be beneath the management of a vendor worker and registered on the market. After working the plates, the officer realized the car was marked as stolen in Atlanta.
At that time, Erica and the car’s driver, Amani Dirton, have been faraway from the car and searched. The officer found “several” tablets of MDMA — higher often called Ecstasy — in Erica’s purse, and “several packets” of marijuana on Amani.

They have been consequently arrested and booked into the DeKalb County Jail. Erica was charged with possession of a Schedule II managed substance with intent to distribute, per on-line information. Amani was charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and improper displayed license plate.
They have each been launched.
TMZ has reached out to Erica … to this point, no phrase again.
