A Virginia man has been arrested after he allegedly poured gasoline throughout a neighborhood metropolis councilman, chased him outdoors and set him on fireplace, in keeping with police … who say this seems to be some kind of private vendetta.
Danville City Councilman Lee Vogler was allegedly attacked Wednesday at his day job as a gross sales director at Showcase Magazine.

Cops say the suspect, Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes, confronted Lee at his workplace and doused him with gasoline … chasing him outdoors and setting him on fireplace.
Lee was rushed to a hospital after struggling critical burn accidents.
The Danville Police Department says Hayes is in custody and “the attack stems from a personal matter not related to the victim’s position on Danville City Council or any other political affiliation.”
We obtained Hayes’ mug shot and cops say he is charged with tried first-degree murder and aggravated malicious wounding.
38-year-old Vogler was elected to town council again in 2012, and he additionally works on the journal. The publication says, “We are deeply shocked and saddened by this act of violence.”
The journal provides … “Our thoughts and prayers are with Lee and his family as he receives medical care. The Showcase Magazine team is fully cooperating with law enforcement as they continue their investigation.”
