Arrested On Suspicion of DUI

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce was arrested on Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol stated.
According to the CHP, authorities discovered Pierce asleep whereas he was within the driver’s seat of his Range Rover because it was in the midst of site visitors on the 101 Freeway within the San Fernando Valley.
Cops say lanes had been closed on the freeway whereas a crash investigation occurred … and the sleeping Pierce was found following their reopening at round 11:35 PM.
“Officers noted signs of alcohol impairment,” when officers encountered Pierce, the CHP stated, “and conducted a DUI investigation.”
“Pierce was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, a violation of California Vehicle Code 23152(a), and taken to the CHP Central Los Angeles Area office.”

Pierce — a Hall of Famer who performed 19 seasons within the NBA — has not but commented on the scenario.
“The Truth” has been working in sports activities media in retirement, and he only recently made headlines when he agreed to stroll all the best way from his residence in The Valley to his Fox gig in West Los Angeles after shedding a guess on a Celtics playoff recreation.
Pierce was in the end let go from Fox over the summer season — and he is but to repeatedly seem on tv since.
