Charged With Murdering Her Mom in Gruesome Stabbing

A former TV anchor was reportedly arrested in reference to the stabbing demise of her aged mom Friday.
Angelynn Mock — a 47-year-old girl who anchored St. Louis’ native station Fox 2 about 10 years in the past — was taken into police custody in Wichita, Kansas after her 80-year-old mom, Anita Avers, was present in mattress with a number of stab wounds, the Daily Mail stories. Avers was later pronounced lifeless on the hospital.
The Wichita Police Department informed the Daily Mail they responded round 8 within the morning and located Mock exterior the house whereas her mom lied inside bleeding.
A neighbor named Alyssa Castro informed native outlet KAKE she noticed Mock lined in blood whereas driving by. Castro stated Mock approached her and her boyfriend, asking for assist, and the outlet stories Castro’s boyfriend lent Mock his cellphone which she then allegedly ran off with.
Mock is being held at Sedgwick County Jail on a $1 million bond, the Daily Mail stories.
