Country Singer Arrested After Alleged Assault

Americana singer-songwriter Todd Snider has been arrested in Salt Lake City, Utah, after being hospitalized to deal with accidents he apparently sustained from an alleged assault outdoors his lodge.
According to the arrest affidavit, the Nashville-based musician was offended he was discharged from the Salt Lake City Regional Hospital and commenced yelling and cursing on the hospital employees. Cops say he was advised to depart the property, which he did … however they are saying he returned and “made verbal threats” to the alleged sufferer by getting within the individual’s face and saying he was going to “kick [their] ass.”
Snider was subsequently arrested Sunday night and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for disorderly conduct, trespassing, and making a risk of violence. He was launched Monday to pretrial companies, per a Salt Lake City Sheriff Department spokesperson.
The “Beer Run” singer’s crew introduced on his Instagram account Monday that his “High, Lonesome and Then Some” 2025 Tour needed to be canceled after he “sustained severe injuries as the victim of a violent assault.”
He was scheduled to carry out Saturday in South Salt Lake.
Snider’s crew mentioned he can be “unable to perform for an undetermined amount of time” and thanked followers for his or her assist as he obtained “needed medical treatment.”
They made no point out of his arrest.
