The suspected gunman who allegedly shot two National Guard members has been recognized as a person from Afghanistan … and there is video of his arrest.
Footage going viral on social media seems to indicate the alleged gunman being taken into custody on a D.C. road … and it appears to be like like the 2 National Guard members who had been shot are on the bottom close by.

There are a number of stories citing unnamed sources that the suspected shooter is 29-year-old Afghan named Rahmanullah Lakanwal.
The National Guards members are said to be in critical condition. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
The incident happened near the White House, and President Trump has since ordered an additional 500 National Guard troops to D.C.
