Little information has been released in the arrest of an Alabama player charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession.
Major Tennison was jailed Wednesday on a second-degree marijuana charge, according to Tuscaloosa County Jail Records.
An incident report provided to The Tuscaloosa News by the University of Alabama indicates a UAPD officer made contact with Tennison at 11:25 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Devotie Drive, near Bryant Hall.
UA’s website lists Tennison as a 6-foot, 5-inch, 245-pound tight end from Flint, Texas. He was listed as a freshman on the 2017 team. He played in five games during the 2017 season and caught two passes for 30 yards, according to the team’s website.
